R/E FULL BODY

Day 2, 1 week out from NASA meet

I went in today to just do some pumping stuff to get blood flow through my body for recovery. I held 3 boards for Chris and he worked up to 225 for a few.

I used these goofy bowflex machine type things for my upper body then moved over to the powersquat machine with a bit of weight for a few high-rep sets.

Meet is 4 days away!!!!!!!!!!!

2011 NASA Kansas State Meet Openers and Thoughts

I'm getting psyched for the meet, but I'm trying to stay calm and rest as much as possible. Tonight I'll try to get in some foam rolling and just kinda lay around. No classes this week, so work is a little less stressful than usual. That should help.

My openers will be:

515 Squat
340 Bench Press
475 Dead Lift

My goals for the meet are:
585 Squat
380 Bench Press
535 Dead Lift
1500 Total
(these will be third attempts)
If I don't make 3rd attempts on the first two, I'll try to make up the total on dead lift if I'm feeling good. Otherwise, I'll just be happy getting PRs on the squat and bench press, since that was my goal from the start.

M/E BENCH PRESS

Day 1, 1 week out from NASA meet

WARM UP (it was HOT in that place)

BENCH PRESS
45/45x10, 135x5, 185x2, 225/275/315/330/340x1

I was just feeling out my opener. 340 went fast with the pause, so I think that'll be the opener. It was my first night at the new gym and it seems like a decent place. They have a power squat machine, which is really cool. The rest of the equipment is typical globo-gym, but I think I can get by and they seem really friendly toward people like me.

MEET IS 5 DAYS AWAY!!! PRs, HERE I COME!
