This felt alright. My right quad is tight tho. I think I'm going to stick to nightly walking for awhile until my weight comes out of the stratosphere. The weight loss will come from better eating while the walking will improve my work capacity and just generally get me moving more. All good things. Lifting will come in due time, earlier if the scale is going down but the mirror isn't getting better.

Cardio

Negotiations continue to weigh heavily on me, but I got back into the gym tonight. Just some walking. My work capacity is just horrifically low.

... Back at it... again. No weight lost. 358. This is getting silly. I hope to have our new living situation worked out by the end of the week. By then we should know whether we're staying at A&M and going to CS or Amarillo... or are going to Georgia.

Still slogging along. I need to be in the gym 5 or 6 days a week so that is starting today. My right hip was very tight as usual but I think higher frequency will help mitigate that.

I'm still very sore from squats the other night. Nutrition is getting better. Gotta lose 50 lbs in 3 months.

Back at it! - Squat

So after a long Christmas vacation and a bunch of time off for interviews at 3 schools, I was able to get back in the gym tonight. I felt good but didn't really push hard. The real battle is getting my diet in check. That starts tonight with a very low carb supper and a post-workout protein shake.
